Welcome Message

Hagonoy is facing enormous challenges today: flooding, livelihood, solid waste management, health, education, infrastructure, public market, peace and order, traffic management, governance and administration. More than the development issues and concerns, the greater challenge is on how we can find solutions to address these problems. The mayor cannot do it by himself, nor the municipal government alone. It entails greater participation and cooperation from all stakeholders to achieve the common vision. Barangay officials, other government institutions, partner agencies, private groups and individuals, and most importantly, community participations.

As a leader and a public servant, my advice is we have to find ways. Old solutions may not solve new problems. We have to think unique and innovative approach to cope up with the more demanding and challenging tasks. More importantly, we have to be together and united.

Collectively, we can mitigate tidal flooding, we can facilitate livelihood and employment, we can promote and implement proper solid waste management, we can deliver basic and essential health and social services, we can provide quality education, we can repair our roads and bridges, we can improve our public market facilities and management, we can maintain peace and order, we can organize traffic condition, and ultimately we can improve public governance and administration.

This website can be an effective and informative tool to encourage greater stakeholders' participation and cooperation. The general public can be informed on the relevant information about Hagonoy and get updated with the latest news, events, announcements and activities. Likewise, the general public can send their feedbacks, comments, suggestions, thoughts, viewpoints, and other contributions, that will further improve the services being delivered by the municipal government.
